Mary Latta, 65, of Bay City went to meet her Heavenly Father on January 24, 2013. She was born March 30, 1947 in Heavener, OK to the late Carmel Thompson and Jimmie Rae Thomas Thompson. She worked for many years as a teacher and social worker.

She was preceded in death by two infant sons Robert and Jonathan Latta. She was married to her lifelong sweetheart, Andy Latta, for 43 years whom she leaves behind as well as their children, daughters Andrea Lindley of Palacios, Amanda O'Neal & husband Bryson of Hollister, MO and Abbigail Davis & husband David of Bay City; sons Thomas Latta of Victoria, TX and James Latta & wife Jessica of Poteau, OK; brother Carmel Thompson of Heavener, OK; 7 grandchildren, who meant the world to her, and a number of nieces and nephews. Mary was a godly woman and a dedicated loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5pm until 7pm Friday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 3:00 PM Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the Bay City Baptist Church with Rev. Lee Watson officiating. Graveside service will be 10:00 AM Monday, January 28, 2013 at Heavener Memorial Park in Heavener, Oklahoma.
