Obituary

Mary Beth Mask Kemp went home to her heavenly Father on Sunday, April 27, 2014. She was born October 28, 1928 in the home of Grandparents, Henry E. and Mary Becker of Anderson, Grimes County, Texas to parents, Ella Becker West and Hugh Othel West. Raised by her Grandparents, Henry and Mary, she graduated from Navasota High School in Navasota, Texas. She moved from Bishop, Texas to Bay City, Texas in July of 1961. She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she taught 4 th and 5 th grade Sunday School and Girl's Auxiliary. She was also a member of Adult l Sunday School Gleaners Class. She married Albert Kemp in 1999. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Albert Kemp, Grandparents, Parents, half-sister Ruth Maddox, half-sister Cloye West Catchings and half-brother Hugh West. Survived by daughter, Celia Beth Shaver of Arlington, Texas, son, Kevin Kyle Mask (Beatrice) of Southlake, Texas, Grandchildren, Christopher Scott Jenkins (Kelly) of Keller, Texas, Corey Adam Shaver (Moska) of Humble, Texas, Megan Haley Mask of Dallas, Texas and Kody Kyle Mask of Southlake, Texas, Cousins, Judy Roskosky (John) of Angleton, Texas and Jeannine Sims (Cecil) of Portland, Oregon, Niece, Kay Keeling (Ken) of Huntsville, Texas, Step-children, Kristie Kemp Marchant (Paul), Craig Kemp (Claudia), David Kemp (Lou) and Annette Kemp and her caregiver and friend, Carol Lynn Guynes. Funeral Service 10:00 A.M. Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Mike Zimmerman officiating. Visitation will be from5:00-7:00P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Cedarvale Cemetery
