Mary Helen Rodriguez, 58, of Bay City died August 12, 2005 at Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX. She was born February 5, 1947 in Houston, TX to the late Solomon and Maria Sanchez Cadriel. Mrs. Rodriguez was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and a life long resident of Bay City.

Survivors include: husband: Librado "Lee" Rodriguez of Bay City; daughters: Irene Gutierrez and Mary Ann Erevia both of Bay City, and Corina Jones of Magnolia, TX; sisters: Patsy Longoria of Wharton, Rosie Morales of Bay City, Janie Vela of Van Vleck, and Sophie Navarez of NC; bothers: Frank Cadriel of Houston, Joe Cadriel of Bay City, and Lupe Cadriel of Austin; and 7 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister: Stella Escabar; and brothers: Jesse Sanchez and Solomon Cadriel, Jr.

Rosary will be 7:30 PM Monday, August 15, 2005 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home and the Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Tuesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Van Vleck, TX.
