Mary Helen Guanajuato, 56 of Bay City, passed away Friday, March 31, 2006 in Houston, TX. She was born May 22, 1949 in Bay City to Max Guanajuato, Sr. and Cayetana Lozano Guanajuato. She was a live long resident of Bay City and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

She is survived by her sisters: Hope Guanajuato and Teresa Guanajuato of Bay City, Connie Longoria & husband Juan of Bay City, Gloria Garcia & husband Frank, Sr. of Markham, and Virginia Perez & husband Gilbert ,Sr. of Bay City; her brothers: Michael Guanajuato of Bay City, Max Guanajuato, Jr. & wife Joann of Angleton, and Ben Guanajuato & wife Terrie of Bay City; she is also survived by her Nieces: Kim & Jason Camacho, Amy & Joe Sanchez III, Christina & Leonal Garza, Sr. and Kayla Guanajuato; her nephews: Frank Garcia, Jr., Gilbert Perez, Jr. and Brian Guanajuato; her great nieces: Kendal Guanajuato, Kenzie Guanajuato, Sadie Perez and Allie Camacho; and great nephews: Leonal Garza, Jr., Mathew Garza, Andrew Garza and Joe Sanchez, III.

The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 PM Monday, April 4, 2006 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City. Pallbearers will be Bill Parker, Steve Rodgers, Gilbert Perez, Jr., Max Guanajuato, III, Leonal Garza, Sr., Jose Longoria, Anthony Jimenez, and David Barron.
