Mary "MoMo" Guajardo, 67, went to be with her Lord on Monday, Jan. 9, 2012. Mary was born March 9, 1944 in Bay City to the late John Joseph & Julia Rodriguez Valdez. She was a very devoted mother and grandmother. She loved baking for her family, especially her grandchildren. Mary loved music, dancing whenever the occasion presented itself. She will be greatly missed by her sons.

She is survived by her 2 sons: Joe Guajardo & wife Abigail and Jerry Guajardo; 2 grandchildren: Jared and Gabriella; 4 brothers: Jesse Valdez, John Joe "Kenny" Valdez, Lorenzo Valdez, and Guadalupe Valdez; 3 sisters: Angie Lopez, Mary Rose Cox, and Corrina Cortez; and numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, January 12, 2012 with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 PM. Mass of the Resurrection will be 10:00 A. M. Friday, January 13, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Jerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.
