Mary Jessie Garcia, 67, of Bay City passed away November 26, 2013. She was born November 25, 1946 in Refugio, Texas to the late Crispin Avila and Celestina Parras Avila.
Her husband Manuel D. Garcia and sisters Mary Jane Gutierrez and Dominga Avila all preceded her in death. Survivors include daughters Monica Ann Garcia and Stacie Marie Arellano & husband Israel all of Bay City; sons Richard Rene Garcia of Bay City and Eddie Ray Garcia of Freeport; sister Flora Gonzales of Corpus Christi; brothers Jesus Avila, Ventura Avila, Conrado Avila, Crispen Avila, Joe B. Avila, Santos Avila & John Avila; grandchildren Alazae Renay Longoria, Manuel Longoria, Selene Aryanna Longoria, Davion Rylen Arellano, Israel Bernadino Arellano, Jr., Kataleya Rose Arellano, Christopher Garcia, Russell Anderson and Tristan Garcia.
A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM Sunday, December 1, 2013 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Monday, December 2, 2013 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Ezequiel Garcia III officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Albert Alameda III, Eddie Alameda, Zeke Avila, Jesse Servantes, Carlos Torrez and David Torrez.
