Obituary
Mary Elizabeth Etie, 84, of Bay City passed away Monday, April 21, 2008. She was born February 9, 1924 in Charco, Texas to the late Emma Elizabeth Hall Smith & Henry Alonzo Smith. Mrs. Etie was a Baptist, a resident of Bay City since 1937, and was a President of the Residence at The Legacy.
She is survived by her brother: Henry Alonzo Smith Jr. of Nederland TX; 4 nephews: Ronnie Smith, Kyle Smith, Neil Etie, and Louie Etie; and 3 Nieces: Elizabeth Gay Easterly, Mary Ann Knowles, and Jacqueline Lea Webber. Mrs. Etie was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Kenneth Etie in 2002;brother: Frank Howard Smith; and niece: Debbie K. Burton.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday April 23, 2008 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Glenn Easterly officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Glenn Easterly, Louie Etie, Neil Etie, Kyle Smith, Ronnie Smith, and Christopher John Webber.
