Mary Dolores Morales, 67, of Palacios, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2026. She was born March 26, 1959, in Palacios, Texas, to the late Dionicio Morales and Epifania Briseno Morales.

Mary was a devoted and active member of her church and found great joy in serving the Lord and others. She was an excellent cook. She spent many years working in the high school cafeteria prior to becoming the manager of Bayfront RV Park, where she became a familiar and caring presence to those around her. Mary had a giving heart and was always willing to help others in any way she could.

Above all, Mary treasured her family. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her eyes, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness, generosity, faith, cooking, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Lawrence Garcia; brother, Tony Morales; granddaughter, Audria Rose Garcia; and great-granddaughter, Ariel Sarahi Garcia.

She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Sanchez (Lorenzo); sons, Adrian Christopher Garcia (Brittany Nicole) and Robert Anthony Garcia; sisters, Juanita Mena, Lydia Guerrero, Ludy Gonzalez, and Delia Garcia; brothers, Benito Morales, Joe Morales, Pete Morales, and Andy Morales; grandchildren, Robert Lawrence Garcia, Angel Garcia, Andrew Garcia, Andrea Garcia, Analysa Garcia, Christian Garcia, Christopher Garcia, Alia Garcia, Adrian Garcia, Diego Lorenzo Sanchez, and Ariana Elise Sanchez; and great-grandson, Abraham Noel Zamora.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Palacios Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Living Word Church. Interment will follow at Palacios Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Pete Morales, Isaiah Solis, Rodolfo Sanchez, David Sanchez, Isiah Guerrero, and Miguel Zamora.
