Mary Lou Billington, 88, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, August 12, 2010. She was born August 24, 1921 in Bonami, Louisiana to the late John & Lula Jensen Davidson. She was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 69 years: Elmer Billington; 5 daughters: Christine Burwell, Martha Kolojaco & husband Robert, Linda Kennedy & husband Matt, Kay Atherton & husband Lloyd, and Carol LeMaster & husband Joe; son: Thomas Billington & wife Kelly; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. Her son preceded her in death: John Edmond Billington.

Visitation will be held 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday August 15, 2010 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Monday August 16, 2010 at Cedar Lane Baptist Church with Rev. David Roach and Rev. Maurice Morrow officiating. Interment will be held at 3:30 PM Monday at the Phair Cemetery in Brazoria County. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cedar Lane Baptist Church Building fund.
