Mary Etta "June" Bearden, 89, formerly of Corpus Christi, passed away Feb. 5, 2009. She was born June 19, 1919 in Bexar County, TX to the late W. A. Ford, Sr. and Martha V. Ayers Ford. She formerly worked as bookkeeper for the Flower Mound ISD.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, A. G. Landgon and A. O. "Donie" Bearden, two sisters, one brother and son-in-law Paul Pennington. Survivors include daughter Judy Nell Pennington of Bay City and Maralyn Vrba & husband Richard of Austin; step-daughter Darlene Mitchell & husband Johnny of Corpus Christi; step-son Doyle Ray Bearden & wife Bo of Portland, TX; grandchildren Kerry Ledwig & husband Jamie, Kelby Pennington, Jerry Vrba & wife Kristen & Kevin Vrba; great grandchildren Kieran & Langdon Ledwig and Noah & Grace Vrba and a number of step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Harrison officiating. Graveside service will be 3:30 PM Saturday at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Corpus Christi.
