Mary Amparo Mendoza, 74, of Boling passed away July 1, 2007. She was born May 25, 1933 in New Gulf, Texas to the late Evaristo G. and Teresa Samaniego Reyes.

Survivors include daughters Ida & Miguel Pena of Angleton, Mary Teresa Mendoza & Rich Washington of Sweeny, Jo Ann Mendoza & Jose Alvarez of Bay City and Victoria & Manuel Hernandez of Boling, son David Mendoza of Boling, sister Bertha Mireles of Clute, brothers Armando Reyes of Brazoria and Andrew Reyes & Joe Reyes both of Boling; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Milton Mendoza, sons Richard & Robert Mendoza, sister Sulema Mireles and brothers Evaristo Reyes, Jr. & Edmundo Reyes.

A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Chapel. Mass is 2:00 PM Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City. Pallbearers will be Andy Reyes, Jr., Efran Reyes, Alfonzo Mendoza, Ector Lopez, Johnny Martinez and Peter Reyes.
