Obituary

Martha Ann Sanchez Longoria, 56, of Bay City, Texas, passed away Monday, November 2, 2026. She was born on December 19, 1969, in Bay City, to Federico Sanchez and Genevieve Alameda Sanchez.

Martha lived a life that was uniquely her own. She was bold, funny, and full of personality. She was perfectly imperfect, a little outspoken, a little unpredictable, and was never afraid to be exactly who she was.

Her journey wasn’t always easy, but she was human, with her own battles, experiences, and moments that made up her story. Beneath her strong personality was a heart for helping others, and she would show up when someone needed her. There was so much more to Martha than any one chapter of her life, and those who knew and loved her will carry their own special memories of her.

Martha was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She will be remembered for her laughter, her big personality, her generous heart, and the memories she leaves behind.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Federico and Genevieve Sanchez. She is survived by her daughters, Amanda Chavez (Kory) and Crystal Robles (Jeffrey); sons, Cody Longoria and Jaime Nava Jr. (Kristin); brothers, Federico Sanchez Jr. (Annalisa) and Joe Sanchez (Gina); grandchildren, Ayden, Angel, Arianna, Adalynn, Damian, Alayna, Alexander, Ava, Jace, Yesenia, Jaime III; great-grandson, Damian Kai; and numerous nieces & nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends for visitation from 5-7pm Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. The Holy Rosary will be recited at 6:30pm. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00pm Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at Taylor Bros. with Pastor Paul Stieb officiating.
