Martha Rugeley Bachman, 87, of Bay City passed away November 16, 2010. She was born May 23, 1923 in Bay City, TX to the late Rowland Rugeley & Lenore Wall Rugeley. She was a life-long resident of Bay City, a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church and active in various social organizations.
Her husband Richard C. Bachman and son Rowland Rugeley Bachman preceded her in death. Survivors include son Richard C. Bachman, Jr. & wife Janet of Friendswood, TX; granddaughter Sarah Ellen Bachman of Santa Monica, CA and Sally Pickens.
Funeral service will be 2:000 PM Friday, November 19, 2010 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church with Rev. Susan Kennard officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Allen, Lindsey Thompson, Bobby Wilkerson, Vinny Schillaci, Courtney Grover and Neil Holloway. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.
