Marshall Everett Brown, Jr., 84, of Bay City passed away Monday August 15, 2016. He was born June 25, 1932 to Marshall E. Brown, Sr. and Helen Robinson Brown. He was a teacher,coached for 38 years and proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.

Marshall is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Kay Cassell Brown; sons Mark David Brown of San Pedro, CA and William Scott "Billy" Brown and wife Jennifer of Norfolk, VA; sister Jean Pugh of Gainesville, TX; grandchildren Brielin Brown and Brayden Tomlinson and husband Joey; great grandson Henry Joseph Tomlinson and daughter-in-law Laura Davidson.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5:00pm-7:00pm Saturday August 20 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Services will be 2:00pm Sunday August 21, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Bay City with Dr. Mike Zimmerman, Simon Fletcher and Joe DeLoach officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Larry Brown, Joe DeLoach, Ricky Dunbar,
Gary Flannel, Simon Fletcher, Patrick Franklin, Henry Green III, James Redus, and Jeff Royster.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to M.D. Anderson or First Baptist Church.
