Marlene Addie McDaniel Tolleson, 70, of Tide Water Oaks, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2007 in Bay City. She was born May 11, 1936 in Fort Worth, to Frank McDaniel and Ethel Leona Nivens McDaniel. She was a resident of Matagorda County for the past 65 years, a member of the Methodist Church and was a retired Store Clerk, and had worked at Diddies Grocery in Palacios and at the Blessing Store in Blessing.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Williams and son, James Williams of Tide Water Oaks; by her step children, Kim Keiler of Wharton, Lisa Perez of Ganado and Jeff Tolleson of Tres-Palacios Oaks; by her sister, Bertie Lackey of Fort Worth; her brother, Carrol Dean Magee of Francitas; and by her grandchildren, Ashley Hurta of Victoria and Jimmy Morgan of Kyle. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jimmy Williams and Sam Tolleson; and by her parents, Frank and Ethel Leona McDaniel.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 20, 2007 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home in Bay City. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing.
