Mark Alan Lewis, 56, of Bay City, TX, passed away on February 1, 2024. While mark left us far too soon, the impact he had on our lives will be felt for years to come. He will be greatly missed.

Mark was a great husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend to many. He loved to travel and experience new things. His hobbies included being a gunsmith, collecting comic books, and anything that allowed him to be outdoors experiencing life. One of Mark's favorite things was Family Reunions, he loved to hear all the old family stories.

Survivors include his wife Leila Cartlidge Lewis, mother of son Zane Lewis, Angela Lewis Collins mother of oldest sons Seth and Joshua Lewis. Nina Scifres mother of his grandchildren Kayle and Chloe Lewis. Brother Jamie Lewis & wife Sherry, sister-in-law Bennie Jo Lewis. Nieces & nephews-Jason Lewis, Tammy Lewis Smith, Danny Denn, Brian Lewis, Sadie Kopecky, Brittany Lopez, and Tiffany Odstrcil. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends whom he loved greatly.

He was preceded in death by his parents James & Helen Lewis, brother Larry Lewis, sister Gail Denn, brother-in law Vernon Denn and niece Bridgette Lewis.

The family will receive friends and family from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, Saturday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home.
