Mark Allen Dunn, 53, was born on November 15, 1961 in Picayune, MS to Eddie L. Dunn, Sr. and Bessie Williams Dunn. He passed away on June 12, 2015. Mark attended Palacios High School and was a general mechanic at Alcoa for 20 years. His hobbies were hunting, fishing and working in his garden. He especially loved working in his shop making BBQ pits and deer feeders or repairing stuff that anybody would bring by.

Mark is survived by his wife Monica Dunn; children Mark Dunn II, Mykel Dunn, Matthew Dunn and Marissa Dunn; brothers George Bexley (Kathy), Lindsey Bexley (Martha), Eddie Dunn, Jr. (Lonnie); sister Connie Bexley; father Eddie Dunn, Sr. (Kerry); grandchildren Kameron Dunn, Izabell Dunn, Harley Dunn and Augustyne Dunn and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Dunn Jewell. Mark will be missed by many.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5PM until 7PM Wednesday at the Palacios Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Thursday, June 18, 2015 at the Palacios Funeral Home with Rev. Hollie Briscoe and Rev. Bob Keprta officiating. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing. Pallbearers will be Lindsey Bexley, Eddie Dunn, Jr., Chris Bexley, Timothy Dunn, Shannon Johnson and David Wheely. Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Morgan and Ray Perez.
