Marie (Dyer) Glass, age 93, formerly of Tomball, Texas, entered Heaven as a believer in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at her home in Plantersville, Texas. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024, in Bay City, Texas. The Funeral Service will immediately follow the visitation with the Graveside Service and Interment in the Roselawn Memorial Park, Van Vleck, Texas.

Marie was born July 30, 1930, in Corsicana, Texas, to Wiley Avery and Nona Dee (Box) Dyer as one of four children. She grew up with her two sisters and brother in Galena Park, Texas. Her little sister, Florence, passed away at the age of fifteen, but she has always lived on with her in spirit. Marie was married to L.C. Glass on December 18, 1948, and moved to the Houston area, where they raised twin sons and a daughter. She was employed by many of the major grocery store chains for nearly fifty years in all positions, including department manager, courtesy booth manager, and cashier until she retired. She was also employed in real estate and a dental office. Marie was a loyal, dedicated, and always hard worker, which enabled her to be a devoted mother and wife, along with a successful career. We were all blessed to have her in our lives.

Marie leaves in God's care two sons, Tom Glass and Don Glass and wife Lucille; Grandchildren, Stephen Glass and wife Dabney, Tamie Glass, Brad Glass and wife Stephanie, Renee Kennedy, and Cynthia Molander and husband David; Great-Grandchildren Dylan, Devin, Holten, Wyatt, Ryan, Alysa, Megan, Miranda, Mark, Brandon, and 12 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She is survived by sister Loraine Keuhn (husband W.G., "Bill", deceased), brother Bobby Dyer (wife Carole Dean, deceased). We acknowledge many special family and friends, including sister-in-law Wilma White (deceased), Thelma of Heart to Heart Hospice, and the entire staff of Accent Care Hospice, especially Tina, Camille, Nancy, Tammy, Laura, and Dr. Satterwhite.

She was preceded in death by her husband, L.C. Glass, daughter Marie Ann (Glass) Sahadi, parents Wiley Avery and Nona Dee (Box) Dyer, and sister, Florence Dyer.

Serving as pallbearers are Brad Glass, Stephen Glass, Dylan Glass, Devin Glass, Holten Glass, Wyatt Glass, and Ryan Glass.
