Marie Beard Garrison, 81, of Bay City passed away July 6, 2023.  She was born November 5, 1941 in Chatham County, North Carolina to the late Dexter Beard and Elizabeth Rosser Beard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Earl Baldwin.

Survivors include daughters Sandra Oliver (Jimmy) and Paula Garza (Joe); son Greg Garrison (Tara); brothers Bobby Beard (Pat), John Beard and Randy Baldwin (Maggie); grandchildren Shanna McEwen, Amy Woodson, Douglas VanWie, Emma Garrison and Connor Garrison; great grandchildren Rhett and Logan McEwen and Rylee and Brooklyn Woodson, and Braxton Ortiz.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Nichols Street Church of Christ.  Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM with Matt Springfield officiating.  Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Joe Garza, Jimmy Oliver, Douglas VanWie and Connor Garrison.
