Mariano Solis Trevino, 69, of Van Vleck died December 11, 2005. He was born July 2, 1936 in Glen Flora, Texas to Juan and Eufemia Solis Trevino. He had worked as a Chemical Analyst for Celanese.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Andrea L. Trevino and one brother, Inez Trevino. Survivors include daughters & sons-in-law, Margarita & John Carrillo and Norma & Nat Longoria all of Blessing; sons & daughters-in-law, Fred & Michele Trevino of Alvin, Bobby Trevino, Patrick & Tina Trevino, Peter Trevino all of Bay City and Lupe & Susie Trevino of Van Vleck; sister, Martina Trevino of Bay City; half sisters, Jesusa Saldivar of Victoria and Lupita Lopez of Mexico; half brother, Antonio Trevino of Edinberg; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Garcia of Bay City; fifteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

A prayer service will be 7:00 PM Tuesday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Rose of Sharon Pentecostal Church in Van Vleck with Rev. Janie Robles and Rev. Janie Jo Lopez officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers include, Joe Saldana, Jr., Nat Longoira IV, Rick Suarez, Moses Trevino, Bobby Trevino, Jr. And Bralio Garcia.
