Maria Vega, 92, of Bay City, joined her Lord on Monday, April 23, 2012. She was born October 28, 1919 in Cortazar, Guanajuato, Mexico, to the late Maura Trejo & Adolfo Mendoza. Maria Vega has been a resident of Bay City since 1989. Her most treasured assets were her family and church. Maria was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory are her 2 daughters: Yolanda Hendricks and Teresa Williams; 3 sons: Antonio, Feliciano, and Jorge Colesio; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. Maria was preceded in death by her husband: Julian Vega and son: Adolfo Colesio.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, April 27, 2012 at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Candido Gonzales officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City.
