Maria Louisa Rodriguez, 73, of Markham, TX, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2009. She was born July 1, 1935 in Bay City, TX to Epemenio Lozano and Maria Anguiano Lozano. She was a lifelong resident of Matagorda County and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

She is survived by her children: Daniel Rodriguez, Jr., Bobby James Rodriguez, Martina Cervantes, Eddie Rodriguez, Freddie Rodriguez, Bonnie Rodriguez, Rosemary Rodriguez and Joe Felix Rodriguez; and by 28 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Daniel Rodriguez, Sr; her daughters: Janie Morales and Mary Helen Perez; by her sisters: Delores Perez, Zoila Barron and Ceytana Guanajuato; and her brothers: Paul Lozano, Sr, Jose Lozano, Carmel Lozano and Raymon Ramirez.

Visitation will start at 11:00 AM on Tuesday. The Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck, TX. Pallbearers will be Andres Morales, Jr, Dionicio Morales, Patrick Perez, Jr, Paul Anthony Perez, Daniel Rodriguez, III, and Ryan Sanchez. Honorary pallbearers are Joseph Rodriguez and Bryan Rodriguez.
