Margie "Granny Bee" Barlow, 86, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 10, 2012. Granny Bee was born on March 31, 1926 in Nederland, Texas to the late Glenn Arthur & Catherine Mattie Hargraves Jones. She was a fun loving people person, always willing to help others. Granny Bee was an avid gardener, and especially loved her roses.

She is survived by her loving family; 2 daughters: Mae Borak & husband Felton of El Campo, and Kathy Johnston & husband Marty of Burleson; 12 grandchildren: David Barlow, Stephen Barlow, James W. Barlow, Christie Sharp, Toby J. Barlow, Billie Jo Popp, Belinda Villarreal, Felton Borak Jr., Tammy Brown, Michelle Gauthier, Ronald Brown Jr., and Jennifer Brown; 25 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; brother: Robert Jones & wife Debbie; and numerous nephews and nieces. Her parents, husband James Edgar Barlow and son James H. "Toby" Barlow, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters preceded her in death.

The funeral service was held 10:00 AM Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Dale Baugus officiating. Interment followed at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 2242 West Holcombe Blvd, Houston, TX 77030-2008.
