Margarita Perez, 58, of Bay City passed away July 22, 2014. She was born August 4, 1955 in Victoria, TX to Ralph C. Hawkins, Sr. and Margaret Reyes Hawkins. She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband George Perez of Bay City; parents Ralph & Margaret Hawkins of Bay City; daughters Nancy Higgins (Adam Ainsworth) of Angleton and Jeannie Perez of Bay City; sons George R. Perez (Laura) of Clute and Jamey Perez of Bay City; sisters Anna Baldwin (Bob) of Oklahoma, Terry Rangel (Joe) of Victoria and Virginia Arismendez (Michael) of Freeport; brothers Ralph Hawkins, Jr. (Patsy) of Bay City, Robert Hawkins (Yvette) of Markham, Richard Hawkins (Tina) of Bay City, Daniel Hawkins (Anissa) of Bay City and Michael Hawkins of Bay City and by 9 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 5pm until 7pm Friday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Chapel with Msgr. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Her brothers will serve as pallbearers along with Lorenzo Vasquez and Lupe Vasquez.
