Margaret Ortiz, 42, of Blessing, Texas died May 17, 2008. She was born February 9, 1966 in Bay City, Texas.
Survivors include her husband Martin Ortiz, Jr.; daughter Maleri Ortiz; two sons Martin Ortiz III & Marc Louis Ortiz; Parents Sylvester & Cresencia Longoria; brothers Rene Longoria & Louis Longoria & wife Doris; Father-in-law & Mother-in-law Martin, Sr. & Delfina Ortiz; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law Hector & Rosa Puente, Benjamin & Amelia Gonzalez, Genaro & Martha Ortiz, Jose & Mona Ortiz, Irma Gonzalez, Chris & Anna Kocurek and Barnie & Nora Aparicio; eleven nephews & seventeen nieces.
A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Monday, May 19, 2008 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Blessing. Mass will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Rev. Sam Appiasi officiating. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery in Blessing. Her nephews Richard Longoria, Randy Longoria, Hector Puente, Jr., Martin Puente, Germain Puente & Jose Benjamin Gonzalez, Jr. will serve as pallbearers.
