Margaret Kathleen (Magnus) Niemietz, 83, of Markham, TX passed away Monday, September 29, 2008 in Sugar Land, TX. She was born May 4, 1925 in Freer, TX to Cyrel Fred Magnus and Ethel Baker Magnus. She was a resident of Bay City and Matagorda County since 1966, was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a retired seamstress.

She is survived by her husband: Wesley "Wes" R. Pipe of Markham; her daughter: Patricia Faye Ware & husband Billy of Van Vleck; her sons: Nathaniel Rudolph Murphey of Markham and Cyrel Fred Murphey of Sinton. Her step-son: Kenny Niemietz of Houston: sisters: Cecilia Magnus of Sinton and Opal Bennett of Pleasanton, TX; and by 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands: Edgar William Murphey and Peter P. "Pete" Niemietz; by her parents Cyrel F. and Ethel B. Magnus; by sons: Edgar James Murphey, Phillip Eugene Murphey and Steve Bogart Murphey; and several sisters and brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 2, 2008 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Chester Sassman officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers will be Craig Ware, Shane Ware, Scott Martin Willson Jr., Jason E. Allen, Bradeley E. Allen and Fred Murphey Jr.
