Margaret Gonzales Lozano, 82, of Bay City, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2008. She was born February 22, 1926 in Markham, TX to Joe Gonzales and Teresa Losoya Gonzales. She was a lifelong resident of Matagorda County and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

She is survived by her daughter: Patricia Lozano & husband Edward Medina of San Antonio, TX; her son: Rudy Lozano & wife Teddi of East Bernard; her sister: Teresa Luna of Manvel, TX; her brothers: Joe Gonzales of Wharton, Marcus Gonzales and Richard Gonzales, both of Bay City; by 5 grandchildren: Rodney Lozano, Randall Lozano, Rae Hernandez, Renae Hernandez and Pariz Medina; and by 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Carmel A. Lozano; and by her parents: Joe & Teresa Gonzales.

The Rosary will be recited at 8:00 PM Saturday, October 4, 2008 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 5, 2008 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck, TX. Pallbearers will be: Dan Hernandez, Rick Hernandez, Randall Lozano, Rodney Lozano, Al Luna and Edward Medina.
