Margaret Reyes Hawkins, 89, of Alvin, TX passed away May 4, 2024.  She was born March 21, 1935 in Victoria, TX to the late Manuel Reyes and Margarita Grimaldo Reyes.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Castillo Hawkins, Sr., daughter Margarita Hawkins Perez, daughter-in-law Patricia Hawkins and sister Emilia Valenzula.

Survivors include 5 sons and 3 daughters, Ralph Hawkins, Jr. of Bay City, TX, Anna Marie Hawkins Baldwin (Bob, Jr.) of Haileyville, OK, Theresa Hawkins Rangel (Joe) of Tivoli, TX, Robert Hawkins (Yvette) of Bay City, TX, Richard Hawkins (Tina) of Bay City, TX, Daniel Hawkins (Anissa) of Bay City, TX, Michael Hawkins of Bay City, TX and Virginia Arismendez of Alexandria, LA; siblings Lore Vasquez (Guadalupe) of Victoria, TX, Jaine Vasquez (Sam) of Victoria, TX, Patsy Reyes (Johnny) of Victoria, TX, Maime Ramos of Victoria, TX, John Reyes (Mary of Markham, TX, Antonio Reyes (Terry) of Victoria, TX and Frank Reyes (Hope) of Victoria, TX and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, May 10, 2024 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck, TX.  Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons Jacob Hawkins, Bob Baldwin III, Steven Baldwin, Joe Oros, Christopher Garcia, Marcus Oros, Matthew Cannon, George Perez, Oscar Tambor and Eric Garcia.
