Marcus Emmanuel "Mepaw" Frazier, age 73, of Bay City entered the gates of heaven on September 6, 2021 in Victoria, TX.  He was born three months early on July 28, 1948 to W. E. "Tank" Frazier and Mary Louise Huebner Frazier in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

When Marcus was 5 years old, the family moved to Bay City.  He joined the Army in 1968 and served in Vietnam from 1968-1969 and was honorably discharged in 1971.  He was a life member of VFW Post 2438. He was a teamster at STP at the time of his retirement in 2012.  After retirement he spent his hours either at his ranch checking on cattle, or with his grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter Laura Locke (Brian); son Marc Frazier (Taina); sister Karyle Chalfant (Skip); brother Hollis Frazier (Bonnie); grandsons Marcus Ethan Frazier, Will Frazier, Trevor Frazier; the mother of his children Denise Frazier; many cousins, nieces, nephews and his best four-legged friend Boe.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM with Rev. Lane Par-Due officiating.  Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.  Pallbearers will be Marc Frazier, Ethan Frazier, Will Frazier, Trevor Frazier, Hollis Frazier and Lee Thompson.  Honorary pallbearers will be Dudley Huebner, Jeff Davis and Raleigh Conklin.
