Marcelina A. Sanchez, 93, of Bay City passed away November 1, 2015. She was born June 2, 1922 in Edgar, TX to the late Vincente Arroyo and Anita Rosas Arroyo. She was a faithful lifetime member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, a life member of Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 2438 and an avid bingo player.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Doroteo Sanchez, Sr., two sons Federico Sanchez and Ruben Sanchez and a grandson, Jacob Sanchez.

Survivors include daughter Anna Florow (John); sons Doroteo Sanchez, Jr. (Melissa) and Roberto Sanchez; sister Timotea Cavazos; brothers Gregory Arroyo (Ernestine) and John Arroyo (Olive); daughter-in-law Nieve Sanchez; 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren and nieces & nephews.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5PM until 7PM Thursday at the funeral home. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM Friday followed by Funeral Mass at 10::00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Msgr. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joshua Sanchez, Dustin Sanchez, Joe Sanchez, Federico Sanchez, Jr., Cornelio Adams and Doroteo Sanchez III.
