Lynda Susan Garcia, 66, passed away November 17, 2020 in Katy, Texas. She was born in Palacios, Texas July 26, 1954 to the late Augustine Gonzalez and Josephine Ottino Gonzalez.

Lynda was a beloved mother and wife, she enjoyed cooking and hosting for family and friends. She worked for Alief ISD Special transportation for 20 years amongst loved peers and friends. She was an incredible loving mother figure to many of her children's friends over the years, where her house was the place to gather for food, laughs, and love.

Ms. Garcia was preceded in death by her parents and brother, John Anthony Gonzales. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jesse Garcia; daughters, Lesley and Jessica; son, Jordan; granddaughter, Jillyan; brother, Augustine; and sisters, Stella and Rosemary, plus countless family and friends.

The family will receive friends and relatives 1pm Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at the Palacios Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 2pm with Matt Springfield officiating. Interment will follow at the Palacios Cemetery. Pallbearers for Lynda will be Jesse Garcia, Augustine Gonzales, Jr., Jordan Garcia, Erik Ravel, Hoang Nguyen, and Justin Gonzales.
