Luster Vernon Legg, 68, of Mexia, TX passed away Monday, May 19, 2008. He was born July 8, 1939 to the late Richard Hubert & Carrie E. Lowe Legg in Bay City, TX. Soon after his birth, Luster's Parents realized that he was a special child. His parents dedicated their lives to love and care for him.

After his father died in 1958, Luster's mother became ill with cancer & he moved to Mexia, TX where he lived for over forty years. During these years, he received special care from his caregivers at Mexia State School.

Luster was preceded in death by two older brothers, Richard B. Legg & Albert L. Legg. He is survived by four sisters Neva Kelch of Amarillo, TX, Norma McDonald & husband Eugene, Margie Quinn & husband Rex and Billie Joy Suffling all of Bay City. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews and his special friends & caregivers at the Mexia State School.

A private graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, May 24, 2008 at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City with Dr. Mike Zimmerman officiating.
