Lucille Melbourn Bolling, 90, of La Ward, TX, passed away Friday, December 21, 2007. She was born April 30, 1917 in Midfield, TX to William Casey Melbourn and Helen Cornelius Melbourn. She was member of the First Presbyterian Church of Palacios and was a lifelong Rancher and resident of Matagorda and Jackson counties.
She was preceded in death by her husband: David R. Bolling, Sr.; by two sons: James Thomas Bolling and Richard Truman Bolling; by her grandson: John William Bolling, III; by her parents: William C. & Helen C. Melbourn; and by five siblings: Grace Greenwood, Casper Melbourn, Irene Harrell, Dorothy Shillings, and Nonie Henke.
She is survived by her daughter: Helen L. Bolling of Ganado; by her son: David R. Bolling, Jr. of La Ward; by six grandchildren: Lucile Wyatt, Randy Bolling, Susan Kopacz, Ryan Bolling, Jack Seaquist, II and Lia Bolling; by six great grandchildren: Kimberley Escaler, Brandon Griffith, Linden, Sawyer & Chloe Seaquist, and Peyton Bolling; and by a great-great grandchild: William Escaler.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 4:30 PM Sunday, December 23, 2007 at the Palacios Cemetery with Rev. Andy Blair officiating. Pallbearers will be Ryan Bolling, Jack Seaquist, II, Henry Zarate, Danny Stephens, Joe Schillings and David Frankson. Honorary pallbearer will be David Bolling, III.
