Obituary
Mr. Luat Nguyen, 80, of Palacios passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013 in Victoria, TX. He was born September 15, 1932 in Vietnam to the late Van Nghi & Huyen Thi Nguyen. Luat was a long time resident of Palacios, a member of the Catholic Church, & a Shrimper.
He is survived by his wife: Thi Truc Nguyen; 5 daughters: Lien, Ngan, Oanh, Oanh, & Minh Nguyen; 4 sons: Tuyen, Lap, Thong, & Tuan Nguyen; 2 sisters: Dang & Anh Nguyen; 3 brothers: Khen, Hon, & Diem Nguyen; 37 grandchildren; & 11 great grandchildren.
Rosaries will be held at the Palacios Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 & Thursday, July 4, 2013 at 6:30 PM. On Friday, July 5, 2013 a rosary will be held at the Vietnamese Catholic Church at 6:30 PM. The mass will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, July 6, 2013 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Palacios. Interment will follow at Palacios Cemetery.
