Louis Jones Davis, Jr., 89, of Blessing passed away April 16, 2015. He was born May 19, 1925 in DeRidder, LA to the late Louis Jones Davis, Sr. and Viola Sprinkles Davis. He had been a resident of Blessing since 1979.
His wife Elizabeth Potter Davis preceded him in death. Survivors include daughters Sandra Hamilton & husband Wayne and Jackie Moore; sons Jim Davis and wife Dru Ann and Randy Davis and wife Mary; brother J. C. Davis and wife Jewel; grandchildren Chris Moore, Jeff Moore, Kim Moore, Jamie Casby and Cory Davis and great grandchildren Christian Casby, Christian Moore and Sebastian Moore.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Wednesday, April 22, 2015. Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Swift officiating. Interment will be 2:00 PM Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Lewis Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
