Lotus Walker Montague, 64, of Palacios, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2010 in Bay City, TX. She was a born November 16, 1945 in Bay City, TX to Ben Walker and Evelyn Brannon Walker. She was a lifelong resident of Matagorda County and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her sons: Steven Biskup of Danevang, Jeffrey Biskup of Blessing, Frank Montague & wife Jennifer of Blessing and Johnathan Montague & wife DanYelle of Van Vleck; by her sisters: Joann Warner and Norma Walker, both of Bay City; and by brothers: Glenn Walker and Ben Walker, Jr. of Bay City, Rex Walker of Wadsworth and Phillip Walker of Markham; and by 10 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents: Ben and Evelyn Walker; and by a brother: Jerry Walker.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Earl Breazeale officiating. Interment will follow at Matagorda Cemetery in Matagorda, TX. Pallbearers will be: Adam Biskup, Chance Biskup, Brian Biskup, Aaron Chambers, Bebo Hayden, and Tony Stanley.
