Lorraine Erla Bryan, 84, of Bay City passed away on January 30, 2014 in Houston. Lorraine was born in Ellsworth, Maine on May 19, 1929 to parents, Earnest E. and Nora Smith Sargent.

Lorraine was a housewife and homemaker for most of her life but also spent a great deal of her time serving God by her husband's side in the music ministry. She was a long time member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bay City. She is preceded in death by her husband Curtis Bryan, her parents, a son, Richard Bryan, and 12 siblings.

She is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Becky and Mike Denn of Bay City, Emelie and Dale Allen of Butler, Alabama, and Cynthia and James Berger of Waco, Texas. She is also survived by two sisters, Jeannette Danahy of Greenbelt, Maryland, and Evelyn Sutherland of Winter Harbor, Maine as well as her grandchildren Keisha Denn McMullin, Julie Denn Kasmani, Danielle Bryan, Derick Bryan, Rachael Allen Johnson, Ryan Allen, Robbie Allen, Daniel Berger, Kelly Berger Genest, and Deborah Berger as well as 13 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2, from 6 PM until 8 PM at Taylor Bros. and funeral services are scheduled for Monday, February 3, at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Lane Pardue officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Her son in laws and grandson in laws will serve as pallbearers.
