Loretta Long Barr, 73, of Bay City, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, November 29, 2021. She was born December 21, 1947 in Fruita, Colorado to J. Sylvester Long and Leona Pearl Young.

Loretta loved the Lord and loved spending time with her family. She was married to Harold E. Barr for 28 years. She was involved in a local Bible Study that she enjoyed. She also loved watching CBN and learning more about the Bible. She crocheted blankets and enjoyed having coffee talks with Terry and Sharon.

She was preceded in death by her parents Sylvester and Leona Long, husband Harold E. Barr, and sisters Catherine Houghton, Margaret Vodopich. She is survived by her son, Terry Barr; daughter-in-law, Heather Barr; stepson Buzz Barr, daughter-in-law Kelly Barr; sisters Sharon McCreary and Carolyn Riener. Grandsons Chris, Jordan, Jeremy Barr, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and great grandchildren.

Memorial services for Loretta will be announced at a later date.
