Mr. Lonnie Gandy of Granbury, TX, formally of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020 in Fort Worth, TX at Medical City Hospital. He was born on August 10, 1940 in El Campo, TX to Mr. Alonzo Gandy and Pearl Darnell.

He had many cousins in and around Midfield, Blessing and the surrounding area. Lonnie grew up in Raymondville, TX. Moved to Alice, TX while in High School and graduated in 1958. Shortly after, he joined the Armed Forces where he served from 1958 -1970. He met and married Ramey Wallace, from Honolulu, Hawaii where they resided for several years, later moving to Las Vegas, NV. Lonnie moved to Granbury, after the passing of his wife September 15, 2019, to live with his sister.

Lonnie was known by family as "Sonny" and others only as "Gandy". He was a gentleman of exceptional recall and a great sense of humor. He loved sports, old movies, and westerns.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Ramey Gandy. He is survived by son, Christopher Gandy of Las Vegas, NV; sister Betty Peacock of Granbury, TX, and special niece Carolyn Lewallen of Granbury.

Graveside services will be 10:00 am Friday, November 20, 2020 at Midfield Cemetery in Midfield, Texas.
