Linsey Lynn Reyes, 31, of Bay City passed away April 27, 2017. She was born September 25, 1985 in Galveston, Texas. She was a CNA who worked for Matagorda Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and in private elderly care.

She was preceded in death by her father Ruben Reyes and her step-father Moses Zamora, Jr.

Survivors include her mother & step-father Ruby R. and Marco Huerta; her son Marcus Oros; sister Ashley Villareal & her husband Adam Dickerson; brother Moses Zamora III & his wife Celest; brother Ruben Reyes, Jr.; grandparents Lydia Reyes, Mary Zamora, Juana Huerta, Jose Huerta, Christina Pedraza and Gabriel Pedraza; nieces and nephews Elijah Isiah Zamora, Delilah Marie Zamora, Mariah Ciera Zamora, Arianna Aniah Zamora, Anthony Reyes, Benjamin Reyes, Irene Reyes, Ruben Reyes III , Lexiana Dickerson and Seth Dickerson and by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends and relatives 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, May 3 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church followed by Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM with Msgr. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be T. J. Garza, Moses Zamora III, Ruben Reyes, Chris Garcia, Joe Oros, Joe Marroquin, Luis Ballostereds and Anthony Garcia.
