Linda Kay Williams Abendroth, 67, of Bay City, passed away October 22, 2017. She was born June 2, 1950 in Houston, TX to Kennard and Foy Lout Williams.

Linda worked for the Bay City Independent School District for 20 years. She was a sweet, hard working, picture taking, smart, honest, creative, Texan loving, one of a kind amazing lady, who will be missed.

Linda is survived by her mother Foy Stringfellow; sons Ashley Abendroth of Bay City and James Mark Abendroth of Dallas; sisters Carolyn Akin and Patsy Gray, both of Cleveland, TX; brothers Clifford Stringfellow of Cleveland, TX and Christopher Stringfellow of Humble, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews. Linda is preceded in death by her brother Richard Stringfellow.

The family will receive friends and relatives 5:00-7:00pm Thursday, October 26 at the funeral home. Services will be 3:00pm Friday, October 27, 2017 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers are Daniel Mitchell, Clifford Stringfellow, Christopher Stringfellow, Scott Miller, Eddie Akin and Craig Black. Honorary pallbearers are her "Thursday Girls"; Cathy Mitchell, Carolyn Fitzpatrick, Arlene Koch, Vivian Black and Marlyn Kubecka.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Tenie Holmes School Library.
