Lillie Mae Meyer, 66, of Bay City, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2007 in Houston, TX. She was born January 11, 1941 in Bay City, where she lived all her life. She was a hairdresser for over 40 years and owned Lillie's Beauty Salon. Lillie loved working in her flowerbeds, spending time with her grandchildren and she was well known for her work making porcelain dolls.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Minnie Meyer; her brother: Vernon Lee Meyer; and her son: Kevin "Bones" Harrison. She is survived by a husband: Winston Lackey of Bay City; a son: David Harrison of Bay City; a daughter: Radonna Harrison of Lake Jackson; her brother: Gus Meyer of Elkhart, TX; and by her sister: Pee Wee Hoffman of Boling. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Robert and Sabrina Harrison of Sweeny, Jared Harrison of Lake Jackson, Cole Harrison of West Columbia, Hunter Harrison and Fisher Harrison, both of Bay City; and by her great grandchild: Rayden Harrison of Sweeny.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Clayton Orr officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City. Pallbearers will be Tracy Childers, Gary Rooth, Ronnie Stovall, David McQuinn, Eric O'Neal, Sonny Ware, Bobby Tucker and Mike Solomon. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Harrison, Jared Harrison, Cole Harrison, James Sutton, Kenneth Black, Leslie Meyer and Gary Meyer.
