Obituary
Leroy Louis Jackson, Sr., 95, of Palacios passed away Oct. 25, 2009. He was born Oct. 20, 1914 in Cuero, Texas to the late Louis Hudson & Lillie Dove Aldis Jackson. He retired from the United States Air Force.
A grandson Michael David Jackson and three brothers preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife of 69 years Melba Newton Jackson of Palacios; daughter Linda Jackson Truitt of Euless, TX; sons Le Roy L. Jackson, Jr. of Markham and Henry David Jackson & wife Billie Ruth of Milano, TX; sister Irene Jackson Anthony of Pasadena, TX; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, Oct. 30, 2009 at the Palacios Funeral Home.
