Obituary
Leonard Daniel Akers, 105, formerly of Palacios, passed away September 19, 2018. He was born June 12, 1913 in Weed, New Mexico to Jesse and Amanda Allsup Akers.
Leonard is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Helen Hall Akers. He is survived by his daughter Velma Staten and son Lewis Akers; grandchildren Allison, Amanda and Audrey Akers, Lisa Simnacher, Daniel Simnacher and Alton Bostwick, and great-grandchildren Koen Bostwick, Lucas Akers, Jesse Akers, Andrew Seaton, Helen Akers, Daniella Simnacher, Triston Blythe and Jordan Blythe.
Graveside services will be 2:00pm Saturday September 22, 2018 at Hawley Cemetery near Blessing, TX.
