Leon Edward Hauck, Sr., 78 of Blessing, passed away Friday, December 28, 2007 in Bay City. He was born January 10, 1929 in Houston, TX to Herbert Joseph Hauck and Pauline Elizabeth Kelpen Hauck. He was an electrician and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

He is survived by his sons: Ed Hauck, Jr. of Houston and Harvey Wesley Hauck of San Antonio; by his sister: Jerry Dixon of Trinity; brother: Herb Kelpen of Blessing; and by 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents: Herbert J. and Pauline Elizabeth Hauck; by a son: Cecil Wayne Hauck; and by a brother: Harvey Wesley Hauck.

Visitation will be from 11 AM to 12:30 PM Monday, December 31, 2007, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, December 31, 2007 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Ed Hauck officiating. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing, TX.
