Leo Bryan Chambless, Sr., 85, of Friendswood, TX passed away December 14, 2018. He was born March 15, 1933 in Sweeny, TX to the late Walter W. Chambless and Christine Hughes Chambless.

He served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and worked as a Mechanical Engineer in the Oil and Gas Industry for many years.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Marilyn Spoor Chambless, brother Larry Chambless and sisters Joyce Dunn and Judy Wesolick.

Survivors include his wife Lois M. Chambless; daughter Sharon C. Smith & husband Danny L.; son Leo Bryan Chambless, Jr. & wife Vickie; grandsons Nicolas Chambless, Benjamin Chambless, Stephen Smith & wife Heather and Dustin Smith; great granddaughter Ashley Jean Smith and by a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may register their condolences from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Taylor Bros. Chapel with Chris Webber officiating. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery near Blessing, TX. Pallbearers will be Dustin Smith, Stephen Smith, Nicolas Chambless, Benjamin Chambless, Stephen Wesolick, Danny Smith and Michael Cordes.
