Lenora J. Hendricks – Martin, 88, of Palacios, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2005 in Port Lavaca, TX. She was born August 21, 1916 in Schulenburg, TX to James Frank Michna and Bertha Gerhing Michna. She was a resident of Palacios for the past 80 years, a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Palacios, and a member of he VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was a former Elder of the First Presbyterian Church and a retired member of the Pink Ladies Hospital Auxiliary.

She is survived by her daughter, Joanna Hendricks of Palacios; her son, Robert Wayne Hendricks & wife Georgan of El Campo; and her granddaughter, Lin Hutzenbiler & husband Wade of El Campo. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert G. Hendricks, Jr. and Dallas Martin; by her parents, James F. & Bertha G. Michna; by her brother, LeRoy Michna; and by granddaughter, Sheli Jo Hendricks.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 25, 2005, at the First Presbyterian Church of Palacios with Revs. Andy Blair and Janell Blair officiating. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing, TX.
