Lee Reis, 78, of Bay City passed away July 24, 2010. He was born November 1, 1931 in Beatrice, NE to the late Truman Charles & Mary Catherine McCullough Reis. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict; was a member of the Bay City Lions Club; member of Matagorda County Sheriff's Citizens Academy; and a charter member of Kerrville Police Citizens Academy.

Survivors include his wife, Vicky Madayag Reis of Bay City; daughter Vicky Lee Baltz & husband Karl of Spring, TX; sons Steven Elliot Reis & wife Donna of Bay City and Raymond Charles Reis of Bay City; grandchildren: Christina Danielle Reis, Charles Elliot Reis, Guy Stephen Reis & wife Kaylin, Mollie Catherine Allen & husband Mikah, Thomas Lee Reis, Jonathan Patrick Reis, Bethany Carole Reis, E. J. Ashcraft III & wife Heather, Michael Collin Ashcraft & wife Alicia, Brett Alan Ashcraft & wife Melanie, Tyler McCullough Ashcraft and Four Great Grand-daughters.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5pm to 6:30 pm Tuesday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with a rosary being recited at 6:30 PM. Mass will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Rev. Casey Jarzombek officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery with military honors by P. H.
