Leanne Nicole Loyd, 52, of Richmond, TX passed away December 16, 2022. She was born May 29, 1970 in Bay City, TX to the late Jimmie Howard Hennessy and Jade Lee Hennessy.
Leanne had a heart of gold. She was a caring, loving mother who was loved by all. She enjoyed traveling and especially loved going to the beach. Fishing and boating were always a favorite past time for her. Leanne also adored her three dogs, Bella, Chloe and Abigail. She was also a very crafty person. Whenever she could indulge in her arts and crafts, her heart found its way into her creations. Christmas was her favorite holiday. She loved decorating and making the holidays feel special. Family and God were the most important things in her life, she loved her children and grandson with all her heart.
Leanne graduated from Wharton County Junior College in 2012 with an Associate of Arts Degree. She also graduated from the University of Houston Victoria campus in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Leanne then went on to teach first grade at Pecan Grove Elementary. She loved teaching and especially loved her little first graders who adored her.
Survivors include her significant other Kevin Haynes; daughter Peyton Nicole Wells; sons Logan Douglas Wells and Landon Ryan Wells; sisters Lyia Winfrey (Gordon), Laurie Tynes (Brett) and Lynne Williams; grandson Ryder Jones and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Friday, December 23, 2022 at Turning Point Church in Bay City. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM with Rev. Gordon Winfrey officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Haynes, Brett Tynes, Scott Herman, Brian Fritsche, Jordan Williams, and Steven Cortez.
