Leah Bryant Kennedy, 73, of Bay City went to join the angels in heaven on June 8, 2013. She was born January 31, 1940 in Altus, Oklahoma to the late Wesley Bryant and Gertrude Bryant. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Ray Shelnick of Blessing, Texas.

Survivors include her husband Ross R. Kennedy of Bay City, Texas and daughter Leanna M. Kennedy of Tomball, Texas. Son Marcus R.(Karen)Kennedy of Bay City, Texas. Grandson Russell A. Riddles of New Orleans, Louisiana, Granddaughter Alex R, Kennedy of Tomball, Texas. Great Grandson Kobie R. Kennedy of Bay City, Texas. Twin Great Granddaughters Kylan R. Kennedy and Karis R. Kennedy of Bay City, Texas. Sisters Dorothy (Harvey) Deford and Adele (Clyle) Harrel of Altus, Oklahoma. Brothers Wesley D.(Simy) Bryant of Las Vegas, Nevada and Richard L.(Ann) Bryant of Altus, Oklahoma.
